Summer Days - Susan Mallery Oh my holy god wow is this plot bending my mind with its fuckery. First of all, I don't care how old and kind and charming you are, if you con a widow out of a quarter of a million dollars, you are a criminal and you deserve prison time. The writer is playing it off as a cutesy little joke and the grifting grandfather as some adorable little imp. IN WHAT WORLD?! May should be granted the property, goats and cancer be damned. That's what a judge with a brain in her head would do.

Other than my huge problems with the plot I have to say that I am kind of enjoying the author's writing style and will probably read more from her if her other novels aren't this insane.
