I don't think I've ever enjoyed a crime novel so much. Right off the bat, the writing style feels comforting and familiar, the mysteries satisfyingly mysterious, and the sweetness of Robin and Cormoran's endearing partnership adds fresh possibility to the detective's lonely sounding life. I'm very curious as to how their odd-couple pairing is going to turn out.
